Welcome to the Almerimar Today website that is all about the various golf competitions we organise in Almerimar in collaboration with Alcor Properties.
There are 6 main competitions that we organise.
| Friday Golf | Almost every Friday throughout the year we organise a regular Friday golf competition at Almerimar. |
| Woodsly Cup | An annual two day Men vs. Woman matchplay competition held in late October of each year. |
| Xmas Competition | An annual competition held on a Friday in mid-December. For 2009 this will be a matchplay competition between teams representing Almerimar Today and Alcor Properties. |
| England vs. Rest of Europe | An annual pairs matchplay competition held towards the end of January each year. |
| Overs vs. Unders | An annual competition held in mid March. Pairs matchplay between two teams made up of the older and younger people on the entry list. |
| Gentlemans Day Out and Ladies Day | An annual day out for the men with ladies playing a competition at Almerimar followed by dinner. This competition takes place in mid November. |
Entry to these competitions is completely open and is on a first come first served basis when numbers are limited for specific competitions. All you need to have is a handicap.
